Fireboy DML is now officially the first ever Afrobeat artist to perform on BET main stage after his electrifying performance at the BET 2022 award.
The BET Awards annually celebrate African Americans in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment.
Its 2022 edition held as scheduled on June 27 at the Microsoft Theatre in LA.
Fireboy dml performed as part of a lineup of globally respected musicians including Babyface, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, Ella Mai, GIVĒON, and Jack Harlow.
Fireboy DML was nominated for the Best International Act in the BET Awards but lost to Tems.
